A day Before Republic day- 26th January 2021

India is the only place of celebration, where each month has a festival to celebrate. In terms of colors, food, art and craft, games, language and dance and where everyone’s heart belongs to the Indian Army. With each passing kilometre, you will see how the language is changed, here you will witness the languages are spoken in more than 447 languages.

When I think of Indian Army, I feel proud, goosebumps at the same time. It is an overwhelming feeling only an Indian can feel the way I do.

As evident from the topic – A day before 26th January 2021, Yes! This is the day, what I really felt, what I don’t know about the Indian Army. Since my birth, I used to watch Republic Day on television, every year, I used to tell my dad I want to go there to watch them and to give a salute in their honour.  I wish that one day I’ll be there at India Gate on Republic Day, to watch the parade to give our president a salute. Unfortunately, my father gives me plenty of excuses to not to got there, but I was very curious to watch them, wished to know more about them.  But my dream came true on the 26th of January, 2021 – Republic Day.

January 2021

6 am at Vijay Chowk (Rashtrapati Bhavan): A foggy day hardly anyone can see up to 10 meters away. When I reached that place where our proud Indian army was practising for the big day, it is mesmerizing for me to watch them, the way they dressed up, marching, practising with their rifles, swords, guns and bands. For us, it is hard to hold a sword or rifle in one hand and do a march-past. It surprises me, how the contingent commander shouts out loud to tell the team that we are about to begin the march.

Our president of India came with a huge convoy, escorted by 46 royal bodyguards.

This day is recorded with golden words as for the first time in history, Bangladesh participated in the Republic Day of 2021.

It is our very proud moment that we hosted Bangladesh as a part of our parade on 26th January 2021. It seems in the pictures they are happy to come and be a part of the Republic Day.

Jammu & Kashmir Rifles

Look at them, the way they devote their life to the nation! Having the sword in their hand and with the war cry – Durga Mata ki Jai! It has been mesmerizing for me to see them.

The Jammu and Kashmir Rifles is an infantry regiment of the Indian Army. Its origin lay in the Jammu and Kashmir state forces of the princely state of Jammu & Kashmir. It is an army specialization whose personnel engage in military combat on foot, distinguished from cavalry, artillery and armored forces.
